Stowly is a mobile application owned and operated by WAGMI LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
- App Name: Stowly
- Company: WAGMI LLC
- Website: https://stowly.app
- Company Website: https://wagmillc.com
Stowly helps users scan, organize, and keep track of household items so they can better understand what they already own and avoid buying duplicates.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use the Stowly app. By using Stowly, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the service.
a. Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address and password (stored securely via our authentication provider).
- User Content: Items, collections, tags, notes, and custom stores you create.
- Support: Feedback or support requests you send to us.
b. Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.
- Usage Data: Anonymous analytics regarding feature usage and interaction.
- Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance logs (e.g., via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us fix bugs.
c. Camera Usage
Stowly requires permission to access your device’s camera to scan barcodes.
- This access is used strictly to read barcode numbers locally on your device.
- We do not record, save, or transmit video or photographic images from your camera view.
- You may revoke camera permission at any time in your device settings.
d. Product Lookup Data
When you scan a barcode, the numeric code is sent to our third-party data providers to identify the product (e.g., name, category, image). This process transmits the barcode number but does not transmit your personal information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide core app functionality (organizing and syncing inventory).
- Sync your data securely across multiple devices.
- Improve app performance and reliability.
- Respond to customer support requests.
- Maintain security and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Retailers

Important disclosures:
- Clicking an affiliate link may redirect you to a third-party app or website.
- We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases.
- We do not receive access to your purchase history, credit card details, or shipping information.

- Cloud Infrastructure: We use Google Firebase to securely host your data, manage authentication, and store your inventory.
- Product Data Providers: We send scanned barcode numbers to third-party databases to retrieve item details.
- Analytics: We use tools (such as Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand aggregate usage patterns and crash reporting.
All providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for authorized purposes.
Website Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage of our website (such as page views and performance metrics). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and does not collect personal data.

8. Data Retention & Deletion
You retain control over your data:
- Edit/Delete Items: You may delete individual items, collections, or tags directly within the app interface.
- Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account within the app settings.
- Effect of Deletion: Requesting account deletion will permanently remove your account information and saved inventory from our active databases.
